Jewel Joseph "Spuddy" Millet

Jewel Joseph "Spuddy" Millet, Jr. passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, in Springfield, Louisiana, at the age of 70.  He was born on Friday, May 1, 1953 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Mary Ann Roussel Millet and the late Jewel Joseph Millet, Sr.  He was a resident of Springfield, Louisiana.

Jewel is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carol Barker Millet; daughter, Blythe Kennedy and her husband, Zeb; daughter, Jessica Millet and her husband, Brian Eberhardt; son, Jared Millet and his wife, Julie; step-daughter, Bronwyn Bankston and her husband, Graye; grandchildren, Adara Kennedy, Macayan Kennedy, Max Millet, Jack Millet, Gabrielle Bankston, Grayson Bankston, Leah Eberhardt, and Brennan Eberhardt; great-grandson, Edward Young; sisters, Mona Pertuit and her husband, Jay, Bonnie Millet Keller and her husband, Richard, Gina Caillouet and her husband, Speedy, Judy Caillouet and her husband, Mann, and Belinda Polk and her husband, Barry; and brother, Kevin Millet and his wife, Tammy.

In addition to his parents, Jewel was also preceded in death by his sister, Amy Janes.
