Jerry James Robertson

Jerry James Robertson passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 78. He was born on Friday, June 7, 1946 in Ponchatoula, Louisiana to the late Mae Peltier Robertson and the late August Robertson. He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Jerry is survived by his children, Suanne Robertson, Bud Robertson(Jennifer), and Angela Shields(Chad); grandchildren, Emmee Stroud, Chance Stroud, Sophie Stroud, Tyler Robertson, Braden Robertson, Eli Shields, and Grace Shields; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many close family friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, August Robertson; mother, Mae Peltier Robertson; sister, Pearl Prestridge; and brother, Davis Robertson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Saturday, November 16, 2024, beginning at 12:00 PM until the memorial service begins at 2:00 PM. 

Interment will follow in Ponchatoula Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
