Jerry Austin Munroe

Jerry Austin Munroe passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, in Tickfaw, Louisiana, at the age of 77. He was born on Sunday, February 2, 1947 in Tallassee, Alabama to the late Jettie Smith Munroe and the late Aron Munroe. He was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Cynthia Munroe; daughter, Dondi Soza; son-in-law, Armando M. Soza; and grandchildren, Antoneo Soza and Alana Soza.

He was preceded in death by his father, Aron Munroe; mother, Jettie Smith Munroe; and siblings, Dewey, Nora, Francis, Glenda, Wayne, Charles, and Gene.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, beginning at 9:30 AM until the memorial service begins at 11:30 AM.
