Jerry Gully Graff passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born on Friday, October 27, 1939 in Louisville, Mississippi to the late Mabel Dunn Gully and the late James Gully, Sr. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.
Ms Jerry Graff was a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. As a single mom to 2 daughters she selflessly sacrificed to give her girls a wonderful life even through college and still remained very involved in their lives until her crossing over. She retired after 30 years with Louisiana State Employment Security as a Fiscal Auditor/Accountant. Her first few years after retirement were spent in Florida with her oldest daughter Misty and her grandson Joshua, then she returned home to Louisiana to enjoy some time with her youngest daughter Wendy & son-in-law Joey, and her siblings who still lived in MS. She was a blessing to her family and friends and even many strangers with whom she shared what little she had to meet their needs. In the last few years many have cared for and loved her. She and her family are so grateful for them all. She loved her family and while never admitting it, she loved many others well also. Many will miss her, her kindness and her beautiful smile. At her wish there will be a small private celebration of life at 2pm on March 31st 2026 and she will be placed to rest in Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS. The family wishes to thank all friends for their prayers of support in this difficult time.
Jerry is survived by her daughters, Wendy Clark and husband Pete "Joey" Clark, and Misty Boyers; brother, James Bernard Gully, Jr and wife Kay Gully; sister, Joe Alice Thorton and husband Bill Thorton, and grandson, Joshua Hamilton Boyers. She was also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by her father, James Gully Sr; mother, Mabel Dunn Gully; sisters, Jackie Nell Ladner, and Jimmie Faye Gully and brother, John Virgil Gully.
