Jerry Young Culbreath

Jerry Young Culbreath, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the age of 78. He was born on Monday, September 22, 1947, the son of the late Jake and Virgie Scott Culbreath.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Judy Neal; grandchildren, Jessica and Bo Jenkins, Dana Milford and Todd, Brittany and Chad Braud, Carsey Neal-Jones, Seth Neal, and Alex Lasabe; great-grandchildren, Treven, Jessy, and Lakelyn. Jerry is also survived by his sister-in-law, Betty Ann Starkey Pierce, who so graciously cared for him in his final days.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Lee Shelton Culbreath, and sister, Joyce Ann Culbreath.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will follow at Betty Ann's home.
