Jeremy Allen Norwood

Jeremy Allen Norwood, a resident of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away in Metairie, Louisiana on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the age of 37. Jeremy was a man that loved his family, especially his children. He loved fishing, cooking, trying and learning new things, working on home projects, dancing in the kitchen, and going to Fountainbleu Park with his children. He was a dedicated HVAC technician for over 18 years. Jeremy was an easygoing, uplifting person who didn’t like seeing anyone sad or down and out, he was always ready to tell a corny joke or play tricks on you to cheer you up. He will truly be missed.

Jeremy is survived by his children, Riley Villers, Alexandria Norwood, Celeste Schilling and Grayson Norwood; two siblings, Melony Snow and Joshua Norwood (Mandy); mother Fay Rivers (Jack); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, Herschel Norwood Jr.; maternal grandfather, William H. Martin Jr.; paternal grandfather, Herschel Norwood Sr.; and paternal grandmother, Katie P. Cutrer.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 9:30 am until the Memorial Service begins at 11:30 am.
