Jennifer Susan Guhman

Jennifer Susan Guhman, 48 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Sept 4, 2021, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. She was born on October 15, 1972, in Lafayette, Louisiana to William “Bill” H. Boles II and Mary Susan Boles.  Jennifer enjoyed life, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.  Jennifer never hesitated to entertain others and had a passion for cooking and baking.  Jennifer loved to watch a good mystery and spoil Digger, their family’s beagle.  Above all else, Jennifer was especially proud of her role as a U.S. Navy mom.  

Jennifer is survived by her loving husband of more than 24 years, Rickie A. Guhman Jr, and her son Cole V. Guhman; her father William Boles II, sisters Erica Barras and her husband Nathan, Stephanie Caillauet and her husband Roger, Kelli Chavez and her husband Luis, her brother-in-law Jason Guhman and his wife Nicole, also many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and close friends.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her mother Mary Susan Boles.  

A Memorial Mass Celebrating Jennifer’s Life will be held on September 25, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ponchatoula.  Entombment of her cremains will follow at the Rosaryville Cemetery in Ponchatoula.   Following her entombment a reception will take place at the Rosaryville Retreat Center.
