Jeffry "Jeff" David Nickens

Jeffry "Jeff" David Nickens Sr., 66, of Pumpkin Center passed away February 11, 2022. Jeff was born June 3,1955, to Perkins Nickens Sr. and Gertrude Ballard Nickens.

Jeff was loved by all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kindness, compassion, strength, wisdom and ability to make everyone laugh even during the toughest times. Jeff was a man of many talents but his proudest accomplishments were his three children. He always believed in family first and was the most loving husband and father.

Jeff is survived by the love of his life and devoted wife of 45 years, Linda Wheat Nickens, his children Natalie Moffett, Jeffry Nickens Jr., and Jamie Hannan, son-in-laws Chris Moffett and Lee Hannan, daughter-in-law Shannon Nickens, and grandchildren Ava Nickens and Emmalyn Moffett. He is also survived by his brother Perkins "Jr"  Nickens Jr.,  sister Patsy Freeman and sister-in-law Barbara "Bobbie" Nickens, best friend David Badon, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Kerney "Pete" Nickens, Tellvares "Tony" Nickens and sister Norma "Sherry" Sanborn.
