Jason Michael Byers

Jason Michael Byers, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away  on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the age of 41. He was born on Monday, August 17, 1981, in Hammond, Louisiana.
Jason is survived by his children, Madison Byers and Aiden Byers; mother and step-father, Jeanne Poche Amar  and Travis Amar, father, Michael Byers; sister and brother-in-law, Tiffany Byers Desselles and Jason Deselles, brother, Travis Amar, Jr., grandmother, Annette Poche; former wife and mother of Madison and Aiden, Kayla Carter Hoapili-Lamm; niece and nephew, Adriana and Xander Fussell.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Poche, George Richard Byers and Rita Byers.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. 
A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel, on Saturday at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
