Janice Joy Jones

Janice Joy Jones, age 77, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was born on Monday, June 9, 1941, in Hillsboro, Illinois. Janice was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Janice is survived by her 3 sons, Donivan Jones and his Fiancee Jackie, Keith Jones and Dale Jones; granddaughter, Tammy  Cornish; grandson, Cayden Jones; 3 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great- grandchildren; and her best friend, Brenda Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jesse Chester Jones; parents, Chester and Olivia Jones; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home -  Ponchatoula , 100 W. Magnolia St. Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 12:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Maurepas Cemetery in Maurepas, Louisiana.
