James "Tom" Thomas Sandifer, Jr.

James "Tom" Thomas  Sandifer Jr., 56 years old of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. He was born on Saturday, July 2, 1960, in Jackson, Mississippi to James T. Sandifer, Sr. and Elizabeth Barfield Sandifer. Tom enjoyed life and loved motorcycles, NASCAR, fishing, boating, playing guitar, but especially loved spending time with his family. Tom was very involved with his church and a member of In the Wind Ministries.

Tom is survived by his wife, Laurie Lubeck Sandifer, his son, Ray Sandifer, his daughter, Charlene Sandifer, his grandchildren, Emma Lou Parish, Greg Parish, Jr. and Brythe Austin Copeland, his mother, Elizabeth Sandifer, his sister, Brenda Gelleny and her husband Mike and his nephews, Jason and AJ Gelleny.

He is preceded in death by his father James T. Sandifer, Sr.

A Celebration of life for Tom will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm at the Celebration Church, 26012 Hwy 42 in Holden.
