James W. McKnight III

James W. McKnight III passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in Mandeville, Louisiana, at the age of 74. He was born on Monday, November 13, 1950 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Dorothy and James McKnight, Jr. He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

James is survived by his wife, Mary McKnight; son, Jay Methvin; grandchildren, Nate and Gracie Methvin; sister, Barbara Jourdonnais (Jim); and dog, Blue Moon.

 In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his sister, Lelia May McKnight Pellichino.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
