James "Jim" Defrain

James "Jim" DeFrain, 86 years old, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at his home in Loranger, Louisiana surrounded by his family. He was born November 19, 1930, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Nancy Harvey DeFrain; 4 children, Jimmie Sue (Nick) Mitsou, Cindi (Ken) Gunter, Marcie Scheibengraber, and James (Debra) DeFrain; 19 grandchildren and their spouses; 19 great-grandchildren; and 3 nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Eleanor DeFrain; sister, Carol Pierce; son, Earl DeFrain, II; a grandson and a step-grandson.

Friends will be received Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Loranger United Methodist Church, 19403 Magnolia Street, Loranger, LA  70446 from 10:00 am until the Memorial Service held at 11:00am.
