James Andrew “Pot” Hoover, III was born November 9, 1946, in Hammond to the late James Andrew Hoover, III and Beatrice Morse. He passed away August 10, 2023, at his residence in Ponchatoula. He was a retired millwright with Local 720. “Pot” is survived by his brother, Roy “Pan” Hoover. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula from 1:00 p.m. until funeral services at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Hoover Cemetery, Ponchatoula.
