James Hobson "Jimmy" Patterson

James Hobson "Jimmy" Patterson, 78 years old of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away  Monday, November 7, 2016, at his residence.

Jimmy was born on Saturday, August 13, 1938, in Hammond. Jimmy loved his family, hunting and farming.

Surviving are daughters, Paulette Patterson and Tessa Marrie Hills; grandchildren, Kyle Hills, Dylan Hills,  Marrie Hills and Colt Patterson; great-grandchildren, Braxton Hunter Hills, Chandler Leigh Hills, Alyssa Lindsey and Journie Prine, brother, Lloyd Patterson, brother & sister-in-law, Bradley and Faye Patterson; sister-in-laws, Minnie Patterson and Earline Patterson.

He is preceded in death by wife, Olive Fay Patterson; son, Wendell Lee Patterson; parents, Calvin Patterson and Kate Barnum Patterson; sister and brother-in-law, Gertrude Patterson Davis and Jim Davis; brothers, Elvin Patterson and E.C. Dode Patterson, sister-in-law, Millie Patterson.

A memorial celebration of Jimmy's life will be held at the family home, 27796 Patterson Road in Springfield LA., on Wednesday 11/9/2016 from 1:00p.m. until 4:00p.m.
