James Elliot Harrison Jr.

James Elliot Harrison Jr. of Holden, Louisiana, passed away at his home Friday, March 29, 2024, at the age of 91. He was born February 24, 1933 in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

James was a loving and devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Blackwell Harrison, his parents James E. Harrison and Dorothy Navo Harrison and his siblings Lorraine Pentes, Benjamin Harrison and Betty Cutrera.

He is survived by his children Claytonia Burns (Danny), Sabrina Anzalone (John), Monica Johnson (John), Bridget Fuselier (Billy), and Barbara Habibi (Bahman) 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, his siblings Lois Hoover, Maryann Waguespack, Paul Harrison and many nieces and nephews.  

A memorial mass will be held Saturday, April 20th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Albany, Louisiana.
