James Edward Coats
James Edward Coats, of Loranger, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the age of 60. He was born on Sunday, October 24, 1965, in Independence, Louisiana, the son of the late Marley Eugene Coats Sr. and the late Helen Picou Coats.
James is survived by his siblings, Pamela Hoyt, Marley Eugene Coats Jr. (Terri), and Bobbi Lena Trapen (Michael), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Benard Coats.
