James "Bo" Allen Finch

Bo, age 67, died peacefully in his sleep at home, Tuesday morning, January 10, 2017. Born January 26, 1949 to Mamie Estelle and Willie Z. Finch. He was a life long resident of Tickfaw.

He's proceeded in death by his close and beloved uncle, Jerry Finch.

Bo leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Peggy Rogers Finch; a son, Matthew Finch and daughter in-law Rachel Finch; a daughter, Jennifer Finch and son in-law Billy Ford; and his beloved grandchildren, Abigail and Ty Ford and Jessie and Gunner Finch; all of Tickfaw. Survived by are two sisters, Linda Finch Pieire and Cheryl Finch Serpas (Dennis) and two brothers, Billy Finch (Kim) and David Finch (Jan); an uncle, Carl Finch (Margaret) and two aunts, Imelda Finch Davis and Jeanette Finch Wilson, along with many nieces and nephew. He had many close friends who will miss him deeply.

Bo enjoyed equipment auctions and restoration. He was a veteran of the Marine Corp. Bo was also a retiree of The Carpenter's Local 1846 Union and Southeastern Louisiana University. Bo Finch loved his family more than anything and will be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 11:30 am until the Celebration of Life Service at 2:30 pm.
