Jacqueline Ratcliff Wall

Jacqueline Ratcliff Wall passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 79. She was born on Monday, July 5, 1943, in Frost, Louisiana to the late Etna Easley Ratcliff and Barney Dewey Ratcliff. She was a life-long resident of Springfield, Louisiana and a current resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Jacqueline retired from the accounting department of Elmers Candy Corporation in Ponchatoula, LA. She was a lifetime member of Woodland Baptist Church, where she served as treasurer and piano player for many years.

Jacqueline is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Velvet Stanga (Thomas), son & daughter-in-law, Julius "Jay" Wall II (Becky), grandchildren, Jennifer Kemp, Julius "Jay" Wall III, Lauren Wall, and Justin Stanga (Magahn), her great-grandchildren, Cole and Brady Stanga, siblings, Mildred Cowsar (Harlon), Gary Ratcliff (Carol) and Darryl Ratcliff, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Julius Warren "Jboy" Wall; Her parents, Barney Dewey Ratcliff and Etna Easley Ratcliff; brother, Barney Dewey Ratcliff Jr., his wife Helen I. Ratcliff; brother, Dawes Ratcliff; and nephew, Donnie Cowsar.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, LA, 70454. Funeral Service will be held at at Woodland Baptist Church, 27929 LA-1037, Springfield, LA 70462, on Thursday, December 29, 2022, beginning at 9:00 am and continuing until the service time of 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Woodland Baptist Church Cemetery, Springfield

Pallbearers will include; John Hill, Jayce Hill, Chris Ratcliff, Tyler Ratcliff, B J Savoy and Matt savoy. Honorary pallbearers are ; Julius W Wall III and Ryan Ratcliff.

The family would like to give special thanks and appreciation to caregivers Angela Varnado and Marie Harris for all of their support, help, and services. Also, to the doctors, nurses, and staff of North Oaks ER and ICU.
