Jackie Leon Mixon

Jackie Leon Mixon, of Holden, Louisiana, passed away at Hammond Nursing Home on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the age of 71. He was born on February 23, 1951, in Hammond, Louisiana, the son of the late Joseph Deleio Mixon and  Annie Elizabeth Baham Mixon.

Jackie is survived by his sons, Joseph Deleio Mixon and Jackie Ray Mixon.

In addition to his parents, Jackie was preceded in death by his wife, Ruthie Nell Mixon, and brothers, Bobby Mixon and Joe Hutchinson.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

A Funeral Service will begin on Monday at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Courtney Cemetery in Holden, Louisiana.
