Jack Rhodus

Jack Rhodus, of Holden, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the age of 90. He was born on Sunday, January 31, 1932 in Magnolia, Mississippi.

Jack is survived by his wife of 68 years, Bobbie Graham Rhodus; sister, Frankie Rushing; son, Richard Dale Rhodus (Robin); son, Jack Duvoix Rhodus (Chris); daughter, Linda Kay Rhodus; daughter, Sara R. Hano (Couser); son, Robert E. Rhodus and Robert's wife Deshea who was as close to Jack as a daughter and took care of him like he was her dad; daughter, Laura Faith Rhodus; granddaughter, Ashley who Jack raised as if she were his daughter; grandchildren: Camille, Adam, Bruce, Amanda, Angelia, Jack, Jessica, Chris, Tabatha, Toni, Thomas, and Casey; and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hiram Willis Rhodus and Montory Beery Rhodus. He was also preceded by four brothers and ten sisters.

A Graveside Service will be held at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 2151 Mt Zion Rd, Osyka, MS 39657, on Monday at 1:00 pm.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.
