Jack Lewis Parsons

Jack Lewis Parsons, of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 at the age of 86. He was born on December 6, 1932 in Port Arthur, Texas, the son of the late Jewel Hosea Parsons and the late Geneva Jones Parsons.

Jack is survived by his wife of 62 years, Annie Lucille McKinney Parsons; daughter, Glenda Parsons Lindsey (Donald); son, Steve Parsons (Betty); grandchildren, Leighton Lindsey, Rusty Lindsey (Alicia), David Lindsey, Celeste Prosperie (Chris), Troy Parsons (Ravien), Paula Kreutzer (Pee Wee), Matthew St. Cyr (Jessica), and Hunter St. Cyr (Ashley); and many great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Faye Parsons; sisters, Lee, Joey, Janie, and Polly; and brother, David.

Family and friends will be received at Blood River Church of God, 23595 Blood River Rd. Springfield, Louisiana 70462, on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 9:00 am until the funeral service begins at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery in Springfield, Louisiana.
