Iris Kemp Edwards

Iris Kemp Edwards, of Bedico, Louisiana, passed away at her residence on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the age of 76. She was born on Sunday, November 23, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Iris is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Theresa and Rick Reneau, son & daughter-in-law, Patrick and Melinda Edwards, son & daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Anna Edwards, grandchildren, Jacob Edwards, Tyler Edwards, Jake Reneau, Kayla Edwards, Riley Reneau; and her brothers, Franklin Kemp Jr., and Jerry Brumfield.

She was preceded in death by her father, Franklin "Newton" Kemp Sr., mother and step-father, Augusta Perilloux Brumfield and Wilkie Brumfield, and her sister, Camille Kemp Keen.

A private graveside service will be held at the Stanga Cemetery, Bedico, LA. 

Interment will follow at Stanga Cemetery.
