Irene G. Blohm
Prior to retirement, Irene worked for the State of Louisiana as a Cosmetology Inspector. Prior to becoming homebound, Irene was a regular and faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was a living testimony to the love and grace of God in Christ Jesus.
Irene is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-six years, Fredrick G. Blohm Jr.; her son and daughter-in-law Fredrick G. Blohm III and Rhonda; her son Theodore E. Blohm and Diane Davies; and her granddaughter, Brenda Blohm.
We rejoice that our friend and sister in Christ Irene G. Blohm is now dwelling in the house of the Lord forever. All thanks, praise, and glory be to God for her rebirth and renewal in Christ Jesus, for her long earthly life, and her eternal life in the kingdom of heaven!
Irene’s Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hammond (707 W. Dakota St.) on Monday, March 11 at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
