Ida Mae Allen Stroecker

Ida Mae Allen Stroecker, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at the age of 69. She was born on November 1, 1952, in Sarasota, Florida, the daughter of the late Raymond Allen and Geraldine Hunter Allen.

Ida Mae is survived by her husband of 54 years, Don Stroecker; children, Linda Holland (Ivy), Don Stroecker, Jr., Sandra Armstrong, and Etta Jean Stroecker; grandchildren, Chris, Josh, and Missy Armstrong; great grandchildren, Charlotte Daigle, Alaina Armstrong, Dakota Armstrong, and Levi Armstrong; sister, Emma Jean Merchant; brother, William Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ida Mae was preceded in death by her great grandchildren, Carter Nauck and Tanner Nauck; and brothers, Dewey and Walt Allen.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Monday, February 7, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home   on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

A Funeral Service will begin at Harry McKneely & Son - Ponchatoula on Tuesday at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Mitchell Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
