Howard W. Jones Sr.

Howard W. Jones Sr. passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023, in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 84.  He was born on Saturday, September 24, 1938, in Pittsburg, Kansas to the late Nadine and Raymond Jones, Sr.  He was a resident of Loranger, Louisiana and was a faithful member of Barn Again Ministries. Howard served honorably in the United States Army and retired after 22 faithful years of service. He was a helicopter mechanic at Petroleum Helicopter Incorporated, retiring after 15 years, to become a personal chauffer to his wife and grandkids.  

Howard is survived by his two sons, Howard Jones, Jr. (Sherry) and Louis Jones (Tammy); grandchildren, Morgan Jones LeMaire (Aaron), Robert Christian Jones, Savannah Raine Jones, and Matthew Allen Jones; great-grandchild, Peyton Micheal LeMaire; and his siblings, Raymond Jones Jr., Geri McClure, Betty Dutton (Don), Lena Walters, and Jack Jones (Jan).

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Madelyn Jones, and parents, Nadine and Raymond Jones, Sr.
