Edward Charles Hoffman II passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 74. He was born on Friday, August 12, 1949 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Catherine and Edward C. Hoffman. He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Edward served honorably in the U.S Navy aboard the USS Suribachi Ammunition warship. While serving he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal as well as the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Edward was a retired Electronic Engineer from Liebert Corporation. He was an avid CB/Ham radio operator, and enjoyed traveling and gardening.
Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Favorita Hoffman; children, Dr. Edward "Ted" Hoffman III (Nicole), Katrina Tompkins (Dustin) and Charlene Jurich (Anthony); grandchildren, Nathan, Drew, Reagan, Barrett, and Anna, sister, Kathleen Bertucci (Lynn); nephew, Steven Bertucci, and great-niece and nephew, Evan and Ella Bertucci
He was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine and Edward C. Hoffman.
