Henry Leo "Lee" Settoon, Jr

Henry Leo "Lee" Settoon Jr., of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away at his residence on Monday, December 11, 2023, at the age of 77. He was born on Friday, February 8, 1946, in Hammond, Louisiana, the son of the late Henry Leo Settoon and the late Bertha LeBlanc Settoon.

Lee was a member of the Ponchatoula Volunteer Fire Department for 43 years and spent 37 of those years as a Captain. He was also a United States Air Force Veteran.

Henry is survived by his sons & daughters-in-law, Andy and Jennifer Y. Settoon, and Brett and Leslie F. Settoon, 4 grandchildren, Leo Settoon, Alice Settoon, Davis Settoon, and Flynn Settoon; sister and brother-in-law, Janet S. and Melvin DeGruy, and his brother, Lester Settoon, along with many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Jane "Janie" Rousseau Settoon; sister, Margaret S. Decota; and his nephew, Justin Settoon.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 8:00 am until 11:00 am.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at the Ponchatoula Cemetery.
