Henry Eugene Mcleod

Henry Eugene McLeod, of Holden, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 18, 2019, at the age of 86. He was born on April 8, 1932, in Roseland, Louisiana, the son of the late Jessie L. McLeod and the late Ethel Sue Rushing McLeod. Henry was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.

Henry is survived by his son, Timothy McLeod (Twana); grandchildren, Christopher Knight (Lindsey),  Kendall McLeod (Meghan), Jacob Knight, and Kristen Baudier (Randall); great-grandchildren, Caiden, Brooklyn, Jaycee, Logan, Noah, and Cali; brothers, Willie Ray and Johnny McLeod; sister, Shirley Sawyer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Jane Voight McLeod; daughters, Shirley Jean McLeod and Debra Jane Knight; grandson, Jonathon Knight; brothers, Harold, Robert, and Carl McLeod; and sister, Donnis Granger.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd. Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 9:00 am until the funeral service begins at 12:00 pm, with Rev. Dwight Barber officiating.

Interment will follow at Shiloh Church of Christ Cemetery in Amite, Louisiana.
