Hazel Ruth Kinchen Anderson

Hazel Ruth Kinchen Anderson, of Hammond, Louisiana, peacefully passed on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the age of 83. She was born on Sunday, October 20, 1940, in Hammond, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Sidney and Katie Kinchen. 

Hazel is survived by her two sons, Ricky Anderson and his wife, Melissa and Darrel Anderson and his wife, Debra, grandchildren, Heather (Kevin), Christa (Jason), Lance, Ashley, Joshua, Cameron, and Brandon (Courtney), 3 great-grandchildren, and sister, Janice Howes. 

In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Frederick Anderson and brothers, Damien Kinchen and Sidney Kinchen Jr. 

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 11:00 am until the funeral service begins at 1:00 pm. 

Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery in Springfield, Louisiana.
