Hazel Hill

Hazel Hill, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away at Landmark Nursing Center of Hammond on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the age of 84. She was born on Thursday, December 12, 1940, in Springfield, Louisiana.

Hazel is survived by her sons, Mark Hollingsworth, and Ray (Lisa) Hollingsworth; daughters, Donna Kay Trent, Evelyn (Albert) Sheldon, Tammy Woods and Norma Jean Hollingsworth also survived by 18 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren; her sisters, Norvie Stewart, Linda Sue Hill, and Tarrie O'Dell; brothers, Jerry Hill and Elmer Ray Gehagen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Pearly Hill; son, Milton Hollingsworth; granddaughter, Charlotte Ross, great-grandson, Nicholas Warren; sisters, Mary Norred, Joanne Lott and Dorothy Gehagen; brothers, Herman Hill Jr. and Raymond Hill; son-in-law, Joe Woods.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 10:00 am until the funeral service begins at 1:00 pm. 

Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery in Springfield.
