Harry €œHarvey” Glynn Timberlake

On February 13, 2019 our hearts were broken as our beloved Paw Paw, Harry “Harvey” Glynn Timberlake was called home to be with our lord and savior, Jesus Christ.He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 1, 1939 to Edward Andrew and Bulah Drury Timberlake. 

At the age of seventeen years old, Harry enlisted in the United States Army. He was stationed all over the world, went on to serve two terms in the Vietnam War, and retired as a Sergeant after 21 years of service. Upon retiring from the military, Harry went on to work as an offshore paint inspector and later served as a heavy mechanic instructor at both Southeastern University and Northshore College. 

Harry is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Kathleen Faye Powell Timberlake; his children Michael Timberlake (Brenda) and Kimberly Timberlake;Step-children Theresa Theaux and Mike Theaux (Angela); Sisters Martha Sullivan and Joyce Rushing (Bobby); Brother Stanley Timberlake; and his greatest loves his grandchildren Lannette (Kory), Dannette (Josh), Britney, Christy (Justin),Alonna, Bonnielyn, and Rosalee. He also leaves behind numerous other grandchildren, nephews, nieces, many friends, and his fur-baby Bella. 

In addition to his parents, Harry Is preceded in death by his daughter CelesteTimberlake; step-daughter Bonnie Theaux Duke; grandson Brandon, and brothers and sisters. 

Harry’s greatest joys in life was being called “Paw-Paw”, praying every night with his beautiful wife Fe-Fe, and lottery ticket runs with his friend Emmett. 

 

Friends will be received Monday, February 18, 2019 from 9:00am until the services begin at 11:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. Interment will follow in the Loranger Cemetery in Loranger.
