Harry Gregory Smith

Harry Gregory Smith, of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Friday, August 6, 2021, at the age of 60. He was born on April 11, 1961, in Hammond, Louisiana, the son of the late Harry Lee and Vera McCarroll Smith. Greg worked for many years at his father's business, Smith & Purvis Carpet One, and he was a beloved father, grandfather and friend.

Greg is survived by his children, Brantley Smith, Brennan Smith, and Joni Lené Smith (Ryan Milton); granddaughters, Everlee and Emmy Milton; mother, Vera McCarroll Smith; sister, Vicky Smith; the mother of his children, Shayna Husser Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Hammond, Louisiana.
