Gweneth Wall Matherne

Gweneth Wall Matherne, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, formerly a long time resident of Metairie, passed away at home on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at the age of 67. She was born on Saturday, January 15, 1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Gweneth is survived by her husband of 46 years, Daryl J. Matherne, daughter & son-in-law, Denise and Chad Aaronson, daughter & son-in-law, Megan and Kyle Perkins, grandson, Barrett Guy Perkins, sister, Gilda Wall.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy William Wall Jr. and Marie Macy Wall.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

A Funeral Service will be held at Funeral Home Chapel - Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana on Tuesday at 11:00 am.

Following the services, a Celebration of Life to be held at Pin Oak Room 18444 Highway 22 Ponchatoula, La. 70454.
