Gretchen Marleen Bryant Laiche

Gretchen Marleen Bryant Laiche passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 63.  She was born on Monday, August 17, 1959 in Independence, Louisiana to Patsy Bowman Bryant and the late Albert Bryant.  She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Gretchen is survived by her mother, Patsy Bowman Bryant; children, Andrew Hollie (Kendra), Hilton Laverne Hollie, Jr., and Linsey Prevost (Paul); grandchildren, Kyrah Hollie, Skylar Hollie, Makinnah Hollie, Easton Prevost, Gracelyn Prevost, and Ryleigh Prevost; and siblings, Belinda Turner, Roger Bryant, Randy Bryant, Pamela Settoon, and Melissa Tanner.

In addition to her father, Gretchen is also preceded in death by her first husband, Hilton Hollie, Sr.; second husband, Frank Laiche; granddaughter, Kristene Hollie; and daughter-in-law, Carli Long.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Saturday, June 3, 2023, beginning at 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 2:00 PM. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gretchen's name to the family.

Interment will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
