He was preceded in death by his former wife, Diane Guzzardo Crowe, parents, Joyce Cutrer Crowe and Gordon Crowe, and brother, Lynn Crowe.

Gordon “Gordy,” will always be remembered by his big squinty-eyed infectious smile and full head of perfectly styled silver hair.  Those who had the privilege of knowing him knew his number one love was his only child, his daughter Dana. Anyone that witnessed this relationship knows in his eyes she could do no wrong. She took care of him like a mom and he spoiled her rotten like any father would. It was a beautiful relationship that was undeniably special. His second love was his long running night club in Hammond, Chevy’s. Gordon opened Chevys in June of 1989 and never looked back. The memories and relationships  that came out of this business endeavor are friendships that lasted his entire lifetime. From his former managers, bartenders, bouncers and clients, everyone had a fun story to tell that would bring a smile to his face. Those that were close enough to call him a friend say his generosity and loyalty were above all. Gordon’s favorite hobby was collecting any and all guns, but his favorites were the multiple guns he had accumulated through the years. Many, many late nights were spent sitting in his living room after the bar would close and watching him bring out gun after gun and listening to World War II stories for each gun. He was such a loving man till the very end, loving and enjoying all his special time spent with each one of his sweet grand babies. May God have mercy on his soul and bring him to a peaceful resting place.
