Glynn A. Trahan

Glynn A. Trahan, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, peacefully passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the age of 79, surrounded by family. He was born on Monday, September 17, 1945, in Lafayette, Louisiana, the son of the late Mayo Trahan and Julienne Trahan. Glynn was a skilled electrician who devoted over 55 years to his craft, becoming a member of IBEW Local 130 and a proud business owner. Glynn had a profound love for the outdoors. One of his favorite pastimes was cutting grass on his tractor, a simple pleasure that brought him joy. As an avid viewer of Fox News, he enjoyed staying informed about current events and was an unwavering supporter of Donald Trump. 

Glynn was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Glynn is survived by his wife, Bonnie Trahan, daughters, Patricia Serpas (CJ), Allison "Paige" Smith (Stewart), Bethany Dulski (Michael), Victoria "Torie" Trahan (Thomas), and Maggie Schilling (David), grandchildren, Nicholas Gibson, Sydney Dulski Brame (Scott), Brianna Trahan, Jude Dulski, Landry Smith, Micah Willis, and Finn Trahan.

In addition to his parents, Glynn was preceded in death by his sons, Ross Trahan and Jeremy Trahan, and siblings, Ruby Arceneaux, Peggy Neal, Patrick Trahan, Gloria Landry, and Ray Trahan.

Glynn‘s family would like to say a special thank you to his long-term caregiver Angela and the staff at Modern Hospice.

Services for Glynn will be held privately by his family. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Hammond and Ponchatoula.
