Gloria Martin Cooper

Gloria Martin Cooper, of Covington, Louisiana and formerly of Hammond, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital at the age of 94. She was born on March 3, 1924, in Shreveport,Louisiana the daughter of the late Frank Martin and the late Gladys Collier Martin.

Gloria is survived by her sons, Leroy J. Cooper and wife Christine, and Richard Cooper and wife Kelley; daughter-in-law, Pam Cooper; grandchildren, Candace, April, Steven, Melody, Jennifer, Stephanie, Michael, Garrett, Chancé, Bre, Kevin, and Kristi; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Justin, Jade, Cooper, Cecelia, Drake, Colt, Gage, Evan, Abigail, Ethan, Jordan, Daniel, Haley, Samuel, Hannah, Cameron, Kensley, Mandy, Sidney, and Hunter; and brother, Louis Martin.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cooper; son, Robert (Bob) Cooper; and 5 brothers.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd. Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am, with Fr. Cayet Mangiaracina officiating.

Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Hammond, Louisiana.
