Gloria Jean "Sue" Morgan Ebeling

Gloria Jean Morgan Ebeling, age 90, transitioned into heaven in her sleep on Friday, September 16, 2022 at her daughter's home in Prairieville, Louisiana. "Sue" as she was known to everyone, was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on July 3, 1932, to the late John H. Morgan, Sr. and Ella Mae Simpson. She will be remembered by many as Maw Maw Sue. Sue had an in-home daycare in Gonzales until she retired and moved to Killian, Louisiana.  

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce B. Ebeling; son, David L. Ebeling; daughter-in-law, Jimmie Lee Ebeling; her parents; brother, John H. Morgan, Jr.; and great granddaughter, Tristen D. Robinson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Wayne (Marilyn) Ebeling of Mississippi and Johnny (Janie) Ebeling of Killian, Louisiana; daughter, Cristy Pitre (David Glatt) of Prairieville, Louisiana; sisters, Allie (David) Wilson and Nancy Morgan; brother, Dan Morgan; grandchildren, Bruce Wayne Ebeling, Terrie Lyn (Jeff) Harlan; Tenille Ebeling, Tanna (Michael) Vaughn, Tiffany Mendoza, Stevie (Penny) Ebeling, Melissa (Daniel) Robinson, Melony (Dan) Hypes, Mindy (Ryan) Ebeling, Caleb Pitre, and Connor Pitre; 24 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Pitre, Stevie Ebeling, Jace Ebeling, Will Gaudet, David Glatt, and Bruce Wayne Ebeling.

Family and friends will be received at Killian First Baptist Church, 27994 Hwy 22, Springfield, Louisiana 70462 on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am.

A Funeral Service will be held at the church on Wednesday at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow at Beauty Hill Family Cemetery in Killian, Louisiana.
