Glenn F. Weick, age 70, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023. He was born on March 25, 1953, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Gloria and Anthony Weick. Glenn graduated from East Jefferson High School and went on to pursue academic studies at LSUNO, now the University of New Orleans, where he majored in business administration. During Glenn’s business career, his pursuits were always strongly centered in the procurement and purchasing field where he did very well for years working for a number of corporations until he retired. He had a passion for music and was a part of a band with his friend Barry. Glenn had a tender heart for those in need and loved his family and his country. He proudly displayed his American flag in support of all who gave their lives to protect it.
He leaves behind his daughter, Natalie W. Falterman (Ray); grandson, Matthew; siblings, Anthony “Jay” Weick Jr. (Ruthie), Elizabeth “Betty” Weick Flick (Ronnie), David P. Weick; niece, Toni M. Weick. He is also survived by his soulmate and significant other of 5 years, Chiquita “Anita” Montero Kramer.
Preceding him in death are his late wife of 20 years, Susanne Part Weick; parents; sister, Lori S. Weick Schultz; grandparents, Violet and David Mertz, Cecilia and Jacob Weick Jr.
Family and friends have been invited to attend Glenn’s Memorial Service on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m.
