Glenn Michael Saizan

Glenn M. Saizan, age 73, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 6, 2025. He was born on October 2, 1952, in Independence, Louisiana to the late Catherine Fitzgerald and Moise Saizan. Glenn enjoyed deer hunting, being outside in nature and was a shade tree mechanic in his spare time. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother, who will be missed dearly.

He leaves behind his sons, Derek Saizan (Tonya), Shawn Saizan (Andie), and Glenn Saizan Jr. (Ruth); step-daughter, Amy Smith; grandchildren, Derek Saizan Jr., Joseph Saizan, Damien Saizan, Blake Saizan, Michael Saizan, Jory Saizan, Lori Andrews, Faith Andrews, Grace Andrews, Trent, Tyler, Cheyanne; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Charlie, Kensley, Grayson, Maelynn, Maddie, and Stetson; and his brothers, Ray Saizan and Jason Saizan.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Catherine Fitzgerald and Moise Saizan; grandsons, Tyler Saizan and Joshua Saizan; granddaughter, M'Kayla Saizan; and a brother, Frankie Saizan.

Family and friends are invited to attend his graveside service on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Durbin Cemetery, 54231 W. Durbin Road, Independence, Louisiana.
