Glenda Faye Graves Lessard

Glenda Faye Graves Lessard, of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 24, 2026, at the age of 75. She was born on February 2, 1951, in Independence, Louisiana. Glenda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Glenda is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Glenn Larry Lessard; children, Chrystal Lofton (Kelly), Glenn Lessard, Jr., and Sarah Ferrara (Derrick); grandchildren, Ashley Lofton, Brittany Ambrose (Arie), Stephan Thomas, Rhys Lessard, Landry Ferrara, and Avery Ferrara; father, Henry Ford Graves, Sr.; brothers, Henry Graves (Betty), Howard Graves (Shirley), and Michael Graves; sister, Nanette Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice Elizabeth Graves; sister, Mary Granger; brother, Ray Graves; and three nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Blood River Church of God, 23595 Blood River Rd., Springfield, Louisiana 70462 on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the church on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 10:30 am with Pastor John Wincapaw officiating.

Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery in Springfield, Louisiana.
