Glen Ray Poché was called to rest at the age of 77, on May 21, 2024 in Alexandria, Louisiana. He was born on Wednesday, December 18, 1946. Glen was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
Glen was a mechanic, the owner of a painting company, and a commercial fisherman for all of his life. In his retirement, Glen loved to spend his time keeping up with his children and grandchildren.
Glen is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Jerleane Kay Poché; his children Glen Wade Poché (Lou Poché), Jennifer Kay Vercher (Joey Vercher), Joshua Earl Poché (Mandy Mae Poché) and stepson, Johnnie Tennant (Bonnie Tennant); Grandchildren, Ashlyn Poché, Matthew Poché, Lauren Lewis, Morgan Lewis, Kollin Poché, Konner Poché, and Camdyn Populis; Great Grandchildren, Zayden Poché, Blaize Ruiz, and Layla Poché; Sister Linda Sheridan; Brother, Ronnie Poché; and many nieces and nephews.
Glen is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Joseph Poché and Christine Hoover Poché; Step-son, Ronnie Mitchell; Brothers, Jackie Dale Poché, Earl Joseph Poché, Jr. (E.J.); and Sister, Dorothy Elaine Poché Bennett.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer Association in Glen's name.
