Gisele "Gigi" Christian Hucabee

Gisele “Gigi” Christian Hucabee, of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the age of 90.  She was born on Tuesday, December 06, 1932, in the country of France. Those who knew Gisele, all knew her by “Gigi”. Not only was Gigi a great woman, but she was also an exceptional mother and grandmother. The love she had for her family was unmatched. Gigi was a lover of all animals and would take in any strays or abandoned animals that needed a forever home. 

Gigi is survived by her son, Billy Yates (Maria); daughter, Marie Cotton (John); grandchildren, Robert Yates, Christian Moak, and Sheyenne Walker; and great-grandchildren, Ty, Aiden, and Finn Moak. 

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sylvia Parker. 

Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service that will be held at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, 908 Western Ave, Hammond, LA 70401, on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 1:00 pm.
