Gino L. Capriotti

Gino L. Capriotti, 71 years old, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025, after a courageous, more than 20-year battle with an aggressive form of Parotid Gland Cancer.

He was the beloved husband of Selena Capriotti and the devoted stepfather of Chase Williams (Brittany), and step-grandfather to Natalie & Nicholas.

Gino was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Annabelle Capriotti, and he was the dear brother of Cindy Manslank.

A proud graduate of East Jefferson High School, Gino went on to attend Nicholls State University, where he was an active member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) fraternity and participated in several intramural sports teams. A member of the ’70s5G band, Roger Dodger & the Darts.

Gino spent over 50 years in the hospitality industry, where he built a remarkable career. He began humbly as a bartender at the Godfather in Fat City and later advanced to become the Kitchen Manager at Middendorf’s in Manchac, earning respect and admiration throughout the community.

More than just a professional, Gino was a loving husband, a caring stepfather, and a true friend to many. His warmth, kindness, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He lived with generosity, and his presence will be deeply missed.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Middendorf's in Manchac, 30160 US-51, Akers, LA 70421, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
