George Martin Roppolo

George Martin Roppolo passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the age of 58.  He was born on Saturday, July 9, 1960 in New Orleans. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

George was employed at Southeastern Louisiana University in the physical plant for over 28 years.

George is survived by his daughter, Gianna Roppolo and her fiancé Fernando Rios; sister, Tyra Ridgel; father-in-law, Thurrell McClendon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tracy McClendon Roppolo; father, John  Roppolo; mother, Judith Heidbrink; two sisters, Laurie Fontenot and Patsy Lucas; sister-in-law Elizabeth Norwood; and mother-in-law, Helen McClendon; .

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Gathering at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, 100 West Church Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Sunday, October 21, 2018, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm followed by a Funeral Service.

Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
