George Irwin "Biff" Montero Jr.Â

A retired National Account Manager for Rubbermaid Inc. died at home on Thursday, February 23, 2023. He was 91 years old. Mr. Montero was born in New Orleans, LA, and lived in River Ridge, LA for 36 years and in Hammond, LA for the past 22 years. He was a past president of the Louisiana Housewares & Hardware Club, a senior elder of the New Orleans Men's Center, The American Legion, Good Friends Social Club, and The New Orleans Diamond Baseball Club. He served 4 years in The United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Montero is survived by his wife, Jean Courtney Montero, two sons, Clifford J. Montero, and Edward Christopher Montero, and one daughter, Cynthia Montero Shelley, six grandchildren, Jessica Montero Talbot, Jamie Montero Dowd, Elizabeth Montero Dale, Samantha Shelley Garcia, Clifford Montero Jr., and Megan Montero, and seven great-grandchildren, Mary Alice Talbot, Evie Talbot, Graham Talbot, Aurora Dowd, Edith Dowd, Ryder Montero, and Lucas Garcia.

A private memorial service will be held in March.
