Genelle Mitchell Myers

Genelle Mitchell Myers passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 82. She was born on Monday, October 23, 1939, in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Lucille Bickford Mitchell and the late Leroy Kimble Mitchell. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Genelle is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gene Myers; son, Gene "Darren" Myers; daughter, Lisa Myers Kea and her husband, Scott; grandchildren, Travis Myers, Brendan Myers, Hannah Grosz, Olivia Myers, Jordan Ahrend, Laura McKay, and Skyler Kea; great-grandchildren, Declynn, Baylor, Greyson, Jackson, Wyatt, MaKenzie, Clara, and Emma; and sisters, Katherine Travis, Margaret Roberts, and Pat Crayton.

In addition to her parents, Genelle is also preceded in death by her sister, Dot Barker.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Woodland Park Baptist Church in Hammond, 1909 J W Davis Dr., Hammond, Louisiana 70403, on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, beginning at 10:00 AM until the memorial service begins at 11:00 AM.
