Gayle Marie Carrier

Gayle Marie Carrier passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018, in Loranger , Louisiana, at the age of 75 surrounded by her family.  She was born on Sunday, May 24, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Eloise Cook Mosher and James Mosher.  She was a resident of Loranger , Louisiana.  Gayle was a retired school teacher where she dedicated many years of service to Lee Road Jr. High School.  She was an active member of the Loranger Methodist Church, where she served in many roles like pianist, choir director, and Sunday School teacher.  She was a member of the Retired Teacher's Association as well.

Gayle is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Stanley W. Carrier; daughter, Dianna Puls; daughter and son-in-law, Darlene Faust and Buck; sister, Eloise Cranke; brother and sister-in-law, Lorance Mosher and Patti; grandchildren, Paige Marie Puls, Madison Nicole Puls, Olivia Gayle Puls, Cameron Nicole Faust, and Landon Parker Faust; and sister-in-law, Virginia Mosher.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Eloise Cook Mosher; father, James Mosher; and brother, Jimmy Mosher.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.  Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Loranger Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Loranger United Methodist Church.
