Garyel Dupont

Garyel D. Dupont, 63, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021,at his home in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Garyel was born July 25, 1958, in Ponchatoula.

Garyel loved fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

 

Surviving are his future wife, Joy "JJ" Jones; son, Matthew Dupont; grandson, Christopher Dupont; daughter, Christiana Dupont; sisters, JoAnne Baiamonte (Vincent) , Charlene Miller (Ronald); his twin, Cheryl Dupont; brothers, J.V. Dupont (Anna), Wayne Dupont (Dianne), Donald Dupont (Vickie), Mike Dupont (Allison); numerous nieces and nephews and special grandchildren, Jake, Kainnon, Jacie, and Gabby.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmas and Thelma Dupont; brother, Kenneth Dupont and wife Carolyn; niece, April Dupont Strahan; nephew, Chad Miller.

 

Visitation will be held Monday, October 18, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 with funeral services beginning at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
